The W1RB Rock Bull is a new tipper body for mining material transport. This high-performance equipment allows for efficient loading with a bucket of any volume, safe unloading in difficult and muddy terrain, and effortless maneuvering in confined spaces, including tight bends on service roads.
The key to achieving the tipper’s efficiency is its optimized and lightweight design, which also provides a significant step forward in reducing its carbon footprint. The innovative design, utilizing the properties of HARDOX 500 TUF steel manufactured by the Swedish steelworks SSAB, and a four-times reduced number of welds, guarantees exceptional wear resistance, hardness, and impact strength, ensuring maximum service life.
In designing the W1RB Rock Bull, great emphasis was placed on safety and comfort. The tipper is equipped with the latest HYVA DTS digital tipping solution. This system provides drivers with insight into the tipper’s status and warnings about hazardous situations. This system, combined with HYVA SMART, monitors every tipping cycle, supporting the driver in making better decisions and improving safety. Furthermore, the use of a HYVA hydraulic cylinder ensures fast and smooth unloading, optimizing the lifting and lowering time to 30-35 seconds.
The Rock Bull body shape has no rib reinforcements, requiring less material and underfloor profiles. The lighter body carries more cargo, saves fuel, and increases productivity, allowing quarry managers to achieve the next level of mining decarbonization.
The lower body, and therefore the lower top edge of the side walls, facilitates loading comfort by reducing the risk of hitting the sides. The 3-meter upper width facilitates loading with a larger bucket.
The W1RB body model is listed as a registered Community design by the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office).
