This new generation of bodyworks is redefining the standards for the transport of bituminous mix and bulk materials. The key distinguishing feature of the new product is its exceptional thermal insulation, which drastically reduces the temperature drop of the bituminous mix being transported. In practice, this means a significant increase in the time and distance over which the material can be safely transported without losing its properties.
The construction of the body has been fully (sides, front, rear, floor) insulated using high-quality mineral wool and a stainless steel cladding with a mirror finish. To ensure the driver has full control over the load, precision thermometers have been fitted at the front and rear of the body to monitor the temperature of the cargo in real time. The product fully complies with the stringent requirements of the European standard DIN 70001.
The body’s shape resembles an inverted Ω (omega) combined with a sloping front side. This geometric innovation prevents sticky material from adhering to the interior, allowing it to flow out smoothly during unloading.
The driver does not need to repeatedly raise and lower the body (to ‘shake out’ the load) or clean it manually. This improves safety at work, reduces unloading time and protects the hydraulic system. Furthermore, the clever use of space on the sides allows for an increase in the body’s total volume.
The bodywork is constructed from modern, high-strength HARDOX steel, which guarantees resistance to abrasion and deformation under the most demanding operating conditions. Although the product is primarily designed for the transport of bituminous mix, its versatility allows for the efficient transport of bulk materials such as sand or gravel.
The new product is equipped with a range of features designed to make day-to-day work easier:
The market launch of a new generation of products, under the slogan ‘Crafting roads, building connections’, is accompanied by the imposing silhouette of a black bull made from asphalt, set against the backdrop of a newly constructed road. This perfectly captures the nature of working with bituminous mixtures. The newly built road becomes a symbol of bringing people together, uniting communities and creating permanent connections.
